"The maneki-neko (招き猫, 'beckoning cat') aka lucky cat (jīnmāo) is a common Japanese figurine which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. The figurine depicts a cat, traditionally a calico Japanese Bobtail, with a paw raised in a Japanese beckoning gesture.
To help bring luck to the community and celebrate the Lunar New Year, CCYAA has collaborated with Mitchell & Ness to create a Toronto Raptors themed capsule collection which includes a crewneck, long-sleeve tee and tee-shirt.
Proceeds from sales will be going toward CCYAA's efforts to promote fitness and representation in the community."
